The Beaujolais International Marathon is unquestionably THE sporting (and festive) event in the region. For the 21st edition, just over 30,000 participants came from all over the world to participate in this great sports festival. It can be said that the Beaujolais Marathon has become a must. We are counting on you for this new edition! 🔥

If in your distant memories of middle school or high school, running was not really a joy, you can count on the Beaujolais Marathon to change your mind! Much more than a simple race, it is an invitation to share and to the joy of living. Between costumes 👨 🎤, musical orchestras 🎤 and 🍷 wine tastings (to be consumed in moderation), your race will not be lacking in spice. Not to mention the “Beaujolais Nouveau Party” on Thursday evening, the “Magic Pasta Party” 🍝 on Friday evening, the “Marathon Night” on Saturday evening, as well as the “Wine Tourism Lunch” in Romanèche-Thorins on Sunday. A real marathon this weekend! 😮 💨

The setting of your race is undeniably one of the good reasons to participate in the Beaujolais Marathon. Between vineyards in the colors of autumn 🍂, green paths 🌳 and splendid castles 🏰, you will (almost) not see the 42 km of race pass!

Since its creation in 1995 by three friends, the Beaujolais Marathon has grown and become a well-established event. Thanks to its 1,200 volunteers mobilized at each edition, runners leave Beaujolais with a head full of memories 🤭. From young to old, from runners to walkers, from experts to beginners, all of Beaujolais is celebrating in the middle of November! 🎉
