The Media Elche is the oldest half marathon in the world. We've officially been running there since 1968! It's downright historic as a business. You will literally be running in the footsteps of runners who now have two generations behind them. Basically, it's the seedling dinosaur, but better preserved! 🦖

A course flat like paella (and just as appetizing) 🥘

The route is flat and fast, crossing the city center and the famous palm grove classified by UNESCO. Frankly, when someone says “flat course in Spain with 200,000 palm trees”, it's either a race or a vacation gone wrong! Result: you can aim for your personal timer WITHOUT asking yourself if this hill will ruin your legs. It's still more fun, isn't it? 😎

Mars in Spain > Mars in the rain ☀️

Departure in a 2,000-year-old Mediterranean city. In March, while your friends are running in the drizzle, you will be under the Spanish sun wondering if you are sweating or if it's just happiness flowing on your forehead! Well, “I ran in Spain this weekend” sounds more like “I jogged in the park” 🤷 ‍ ♀️.

Two distances = zero excuses 🎯

21 km or 10 km to choose from! So if your friend says “Oh no I can't do a semi”, BAM, you suggest the 10 km to him! No more excuses, no more “I'm not trained enough”... Everyone gets on board! And at least you'll all end up in the same place for tapas later 🍤.
