🏔️ A monument
A True Sports Monument Stands in Front of You! You race through one of the legendary theaters of cycling 🚴 ♂️. You have just left your mark on an asphalt where every meter is full of stories between the tragic death of Tom Simpson, the victory of Bernard Thévenet or even the meteoric attacks of Christopher Froome 🧨. It's up to you to write the next page using your strides! 🖋️
🌬️ A breath of fresh air at altitude
An unimaginable sense of pride takes hold of you once at the top 🏆. Now you rule Vaucluse from a throne culminating at an altitude of 1912 m 🤴. You are then on the summit of Mont Ventoux 🌄. Symbol of Provence and an essential place in Vaucluse, its summit of white limestone stones offers you a lunar landscape 🌒 so popular with Armstrong people whether they are astronauts or cyclists. The panorama offered to you overlooks the Luberon, the Sainte-Victoire mountain, the Nesque Gorges, and even the Mediterranean coastline when the sky is perfectly clear! 🤩
📈 Push your limits
A race made for those who want to push their limits. With 21.6 km, 1610 mD+ and an average slope of 7.5% of up to 11.5%, Mont Ventoux will give you a hard time 😩. The short break during the course will put your mind to the test 🧠. And as if that were not enough, the race takes place in July. The heat will therefore be an additional difficulty to overcome. 🥵
🎁 Give, give me!!
You will leave with little energy, but not empty-handed from this event! Like all finishers you will be entitled to your medal, a local beer and other prizes 🎁. After 21.6 km and 1610 mD+ you well deserve your share of surprises! 🏅
