A Heritage Powerhouse n°1️⃣

The city of Amiens is known for overflowing with historical treasures. It boasts an impressive collection of UNESCO-listed sites—actually the largest number of any French city! If you’re looking for cultural discoveries, you’re in for a treat.

The Little Venice of the North 🛶

You can’t talk about Amiens without mentioning its famous 300-hectare floating gardens 🌿.
These hortillonnages earned the city its nickname “Little Venice of the North”. This former farmland was once used to grow leeks, cabbages 🥬 and even carrots 🥕.
